COVID-19 Status Update
The 2021 Flavorcon Events Team wanted to update you on the latest COVID-19 news from Duke Energy Convention Center, Ohio.
DECC: Highlights that the health, safety, security and wellbeing of all who enter our venue is the number one priority of the Duke Energy Convention Center (DECC). As we look forward to hosting events during the “new normal,” we have developed and implemented new venue plans, policies and procedures to minimize risk and protect our collective health. We will continue to follow recommendation from the CDC and local and state authorities regarding events at the DECC. The DECC is proud to have received GBAC STAR Facility Accreditation in recognition of enhanced venue health and safety measures.

Originally slated for 2020, the event has been rescheduled due to the ongoing developments of COVID-19/coronavirus.
Allured Business Media produces annual events for the Beauty, Spa, Fragrance & Flavor industries to share, learn, network and identify new suppliers and customers. Cancelling any of our events prematurely is a decision we don't take lightly, as these events are recognized by the community as signature events. That said, we're continuing to watch, monitor, work with our venue partners and carefully assess the risk as we approach the dates of our upcoming events. The health and safety of our customers, partners and staff is our highest priority.
If our events are approaching the scheduled dates for the show and the risk assessment from the CDC, etc is consistent with today, we'll put our plans in motion to postpone the show dates. We're working diligently with the facility and hotels respectively for all upcoming events. We have made the commitment to our customers, partners and team to re-assess the risks and make a final determination on the current dates with-in a couple months prior to the show.
If we in fact need to postpone our show dates, we will make everyone well aware of it in-advance, so you, we and everyone will be able to make the necessary changes without penalty. In addition, the airlines have been very transparent on their policy for making itinerary changes due to the coronavirus as well.
For now, please exercise the guidelines we've all been given and stay healthy, as we are... As we approach our deadline for postponing an event, we'll keep you well informed. Thank you for your attention and your continued confidence in the Allured events. We appreciate your support.

This includes, but is not limited to, our attendees, exhibitors, market suppliers, staff, industry partners, and others involved. We will continue to closely monitor the coronavirus outbreak and communicate updates as we are made aware of them. We are working hand in hand with our venue partners, their State, Local Authorities and Public Health Officials as well as the WHO and CDC.
