Cindy graduated from Rosary College in 1978 and began her 35-year career in flavor chemistry at Stepan Flavors in Northfield Illinois, and later on with FONA, Synergy, Edlong and Nutraweet. She is currently a principal flavor chemist at Bell Flavors. Her experience includes working for flavor houses and food companies. She is a certified member of the Society of Flavor Chemists for 29 years. In 2007 she was the recipient of the 2007 Marie Kelso award in the confectionery industry.
For the past 25 years she has dedicated much of her time creating flavors for the confectionery industry and learning the art of candy making. She loves the art and science of being a flavor chemist and finds every day a new adventure in the flavor world.
